Plasson Electrofusion IPS-OD elbow fittings are high-performance, molded High-Density Polyethylene connectors used to create 90-degree changes in direction in a PE pipe water system. These fittings are specifically designed for electrofusion welding, where an electrical current is passed through built-in coils inside the fitting to melt the pipe and fitting together, resulting in a leak-tight, monolithic joint that is often stronger than the pipe itself.
